during my stay, I enjoyed close walks to Blackbeard's Castle and the stunning views from Drake's Seat, both just a short stroll away from my room, which was clean and comfortable with a great ambiance for relaxing after a day of exploring.

I had an amazing experience here. the outdoor dining area was perfect for morning breakfasts with beautiful views. The owner's warmth and hospitality made every moment special. It felt like a home away from home.

The water pressure in the shower could use a little boost. but it didn't overshadow my wonderful stay.

The staff was exceptionally accommodating when we requested a late check-in. I was particularly impressed with the quick response to our room issue, as we were promptly moved to another studio. The overall ambiance, especially the beautiful garden view from our room, made our stay enjoyable.

The Deluxe King Studio has an excellent layout with spacious areas that feel open and inviting. The outdoor dining area offered a perfect spot for breakfast with great views, enhancing the overall vibe of relaxation.

The shower lacks sufficient water pressure, which might test patience for those who expect a strong spray. There were troubling experiences with noise—sounds from neighboring rooms were intrusive, and my door didn’t seal well, allowing for unwelcome drafts and unwanted bugs. Operating the air conditioning presented challenges. adjustments took time before achieving a comfortable temperature, which was a minor inconvenience during my stay.

The view was incredible, and I loved the comfortable bed with clean linens, but the pictures didn’t do justice as there were unframed images lying around. Would visit again, though!

I noticed during my stay that items for decoration, like mirrors and paintings, were just lying around unattached to walls, giving it an unfinished feel. The outdoor furniture appeared neglected with dirt and webs all over. Although I liked the cozy atmosphere, these details noticeably affected the overall experience. I do hope renovation wraps up soon. it can truly be a hidden gem.
